2021 got off to a dramatic start with the excellent news that the extradition of Julian Assange to the United States has been rejected by a judge at the Old Bailey. This is a hard fought victory for the campaigners and activists who have worked tirelessly for Assange’s release and congratulations is due to everyone involved.
But the fight does not end there. The very same judge unjustifiably refused to grant Assange bail in view of the US appeal against the decision. Our meeting to discuss the next steps of the campaign to free Assange is now even more important as it is again up to us to demand his immediate release from Belmarsh Prison.
Join us on 14th February at 1pm to discuss what’s next in the case of Julian Assange and what you can do to push for his release.
