Free Assange NOW: Live stream from Miami with John and Gabriel Shipton

Today we screen a live stream outside the British Consulate in Melbourne via Jen Perelman who is in Miami with father and son team John and Gabriel Shipton. The Shiptons are currently touring the USA with dedication and determination to free Julian and bring him home. Join us in solidarity with them as they fight to save the life of their son and brother, award winning journalist, Julian #Assange.John Shipton: The defence was given a week’s extension until the 7th to submit their defence submissions. After that they will be considered and given to the prosecution; and the High Court, sitting as a single judge, will decide whether the defence appeal can be heard, and that’ll take some months.
