It is vital that we get out and about to be a visible witness for Julian as the appeals and counter appeals of the extradition process are heard in London and as Scott Ludlum said in this recent article, Julian could walk free if we can ‘seize this moment’

The concept of a day out is to win hearts merely by being seen with signs, banners, being ready to have conversations, and having leaflets ready to share. (I’ll bring leaflets on the day).
There will be no speeches – no yelling, just a happy group meeting, talking and walking – but being very visible.
The inaugural Day Out for Julian Assange will start at the top of the lawn in front of Parliament House at 10am sharp on Saturday April 3 where we will film a segment to be published with a sound track for further publicity.
Please come with your signs, and please print out and make up the Julian Assange mask to wear that is attached. I’ll ask you to stand with your mask on, holding your sign and nothing more. There is also a free cache of posters, stickers and postcards here by artist activist Somerset Bean:

THEN we move onto Commonwealth Place to have a coffee break and chat, and then set up a tableau to attract conversations with the public and provide information.
