Recently Assange’s extradition to the US was approved by the UK Home Secretary. This is a disgrace, he must not be extradited or decades of work for press freedom, freedom of expression and human rights will be lost.
This is his third year in a prison and 11th year detained including 7 years in the embassy. The Australian Government is not doing enough to bring him home. The Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Attorney General must publicly and clearly state that they oppose the extradition and loudly ask for his release.
